NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming in London UK
Find out about NLP course, NLP training &
coaching with NLP course certification to use in therapy. Our NLP
master practitioner training program, NLP therapy & course certification
is very useful for people involved in therapy.
Another useful application of NLP is in therapy. Do you know someone
that has been going to therapy for months or even years without
appearing to have achieved much change?
Our NLP training course offers a range of techniques and approaches that
are often quite dramatic in both their success and also their speed.
In fact, you can often work with a client who seems to have a 'lifelong'
problem, and just over the space of a few hours, or less, totally
transform their experience.
The techniques in NLP therapy are not only useful for people who want
to be involved in therapy or coaching, but also for those people who
already are therapists or coaches. On one of our Master Practitioner
training's, someone once commented 'I find it hard to believe, but
over the last few days I have learned more than I did in 4 years of
training as a psychotherapist'. In NLP we are really interested in what works
- not what a particular style of therapy says you should do. Because
one approach works for somebody, doesn't mean that it is the best
approach for someone else.
If you could help your clients achieve results more quickly, would
this be valuable to you?
One of the underlying assumptions (or presuppositions) in NLP is that
we do the best we can with the resources we have available at the
time, and also that behavior is geared for adaptation. What this essentially
means, is that any behavior we are producing at the time, however
negative it may seem, is the best available at the time and also has
an underlying positive intention. We believe that all behavior has
an underlying positive intention, and we will often uncover that positive
intention and help give the client new ways to achieve that same intention.
Another source of psychological and sometimes physiological difficulties
can be inner conflicts. This is where someone may be behaving in ways
they do not understand, or where someone really wants to achieve something,
but it is like part of them is holding themselves back.
The NLP technique called 'Parts Integration' is a very powerful process
which can quickly help to resolve parts that may be in conflict. The
results can be quite dramatic and for the client it can feel as though
even their physiology has changed. After one demonstration on our
training, the students commented that the person who had had the part
resolved looked about 10 years younger.
Neuro Linguistic programming also offers a range of very quick techniques that can be used
to change unwanted habits or emotions. For example, if someone wanted
to stop eating chocolate, then they could transform the way they feel
about chocolate in under 5 minutes in most cases. You could also stop
someone from biting their nails in several minutes using a technique
called 'Swish', which is very effective. I recently met someone I
had worked with years ago using this technique, and they hadn't bitten
their nails since.
As well as dealing with minor issues, there are many ways of effectively
dealing with more major problems. Time Line
techniques are
a method
to quickly and easily deal with negative emotions, limiting beliefs
and also goal setting.
This is a highly effective approach and is a very fast way to find the root cause of problems
and completely
resolve them very quickly. This takes the therapy side a little deeper
than a traditional NLP course and during an NLP training that offers Time Line
techniques you will experience just how rapidly you can release
issues that people have held on to for years.
In coaching, NLP also offers key skills. For example, the language
pattern of the 'meta-model' is a way that you can quickly and easily
help your client get clear on what they want, and also unravel and
loosen limiting beliefs and decisions. In fact, many coaches say that
this is the most useful coaching skill they have ever learned.
