I am on my way up to Scotland today to visit my mother in hospital. Driving to the airport early in the morning is always a pleasure – there is so little traffic on the road. I don’t know whether it is just me or whether it is something that has changed, however there seems to be more and more aggressive driving on the roads these days. People are always in a hurry – one thing is it seems that rather than technology making our lives easier, there are more and more demands on our time and the need to get things done is more extreme every day.
I remember on one of my recent NLP Practitioner trainings, someone wanted to deal with their road rage. After taking them through a Time Line technique, they let go of this anger and several months later they emailed me to let me know how they had been experiencing a calmness ever since. They had spent thousands of pounds on therapy without success, but in a few minutes of NLP managed to release this hugely intense emotion.
